Neurologist & Neurosurgeon

Dr. Andrew Barker grew up in Toronto, Canada and attended the Ontario Veterinary College. After deciding to pursue a speciality in neurology he completed a rotating internship at the Atlantic Veterinary College in Charlottetown, PEI, a neurology speciality internship at Canada West Veterinary Specialists in Vancouver, BC and a neurology residency at Iowa State University, Ames, IA. After returning to OVC for a year as faculty he joined theToronto Veterinary Emergency Hospital in 2015.

When not working Andrew enjoys world history, hockey (for which he has much more enthusiasm than skill), travelling, camping and spending time with his wife and daughter.
